Value-added tax
As a small business within the meaning of § 19 UStG, we do not charge value-added tax and do not show it separately on invoices.
Consumer dispute resolution
We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
Liability for content
As a service provider, we are responsible for our own content on these pages under the general laws, pursuant to § 7 (1) DDG. Under §§ 8 to 10 DDG, however, we as a service provider are not obliged to monitor transmitted or stored third-party information, or to investigate circumstances that indicate unlawful activity. Obligations to remove or block the use of information under the general laws remain unaffected.
Liability for links
Our offering contains links to external third-party websites (e.g. to payment and provider platforms) over whose content we have no control. We therefore cannot accept any liability for this third-party content. The respective provider or operator of the linked pages is always responsible for their content.
Copyright
The content and works created by the site operator on these pages are subject to German copyright law. Contributions by third parties are marked as such. Reproduction, editing, distribution, and any kind of use beyond the limits of copyright require the written consent of the respective author or creator.
Privacy Policy
This policy covers the marketing website onemillionframe.com. The 1M Frame app (app.onemillionframe.com) processes different data (account, login, journal entries, payments) and has its own privacy policy inside the app.
1. Controller
The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:
Marius HaugHochvogelweg 18, 84034 Landshut, Germany
Email: support@onemillionframe.com
2. Overview & legal bases
This website is an information and sales site with a newsletter sign-up. We process personal data only where it is technically necessary to provide the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in a secure, functional presence), where you contact us (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR), or where you have given your consent — for example for the newsletter (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
3. Hosting & server log files
This website is hosted by an external provider (Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When you access the site, technically necessary access data is automatically processed in server log files: IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested, the volume of data transferred, the referrer URL, and browser and operating-system information. This serves the delivery, stability, and security of the site. The log files are retained by the hosting provider only for as long as is necessary for these purposes and are then deleted or anonymized automatically; we do not merge them with other data sources. A transfer to the USA may take place; it is based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. The newsletter sign-up form (see section 6) is handled by a serverless function running on this same hosting infrastructure, which forwards your email address to our newsletter provider.
4. Fonts
The fonts used are served locally from our own server ("self-hosted"). There is no connection to Google servers, and no IP address is transmitted to Google or any other third party when the fonts load.
5. Cookies & tracking
This site sets no cookies and builds no personal profiles. For anonymous reach measurement we use Umami (Umami Software, Inc.), a privacy-first analytics service. Umami works without cookies: no identifiers are stored on your device, IP addresses are not retained, and visits cannot be traced back to you. We only see aggregated counts — page views, referrer source, country, device type, and whether anonymous events like "free kit requested" happened. The service's technical infrastructure is operated partly on servers outside the EU; however, no personal data is stored there — only anonymous, aggregated statistics. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in understanding aggregate site usage; no consent banner is required. Details: umami.is/privacy.
6. Newsletter & email sign-up
If you sign up for our free kit or newsletter, we process the email address you enter. When you submit the form, your address is transmitted — via a serverless function on our hosting — to our newsletter provider beehiiv, Inc. (USA), which delivers and manages the newsletter for us as a processor. You can review beehiiv's own privacy terms at beehiiv.com.
We use a double opt-in: you receive a confirmation email, and you are only added to the list once you confirm. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by clicking the unsubscribe link in every email; we then remove your address from the active list. A transfer to the USA takes place and is based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Your email address is stored for as long as you remain subscribed; after you unsubscribe, a minimal record may be kept on a suppression list solely to ensure you are not contacted again.
7. External links & redirects
The purchase and sign-up buttons redirect to external third-party platforms (e.g. Whop and the 1M Frame app). Once you leave this site, the privacy terms of the respective provider apply; we are not responsible for their processing.
8. Contact
If you contact us by email, we process your details to handle the request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). The data is deleted once it is no longer required and no statutory retention obligations prevent this.
9. Your rights
You have the right at any time to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and objection (Art. 21 GDPR). You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent authority is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.
As of July 2026. This policy covers the newsletter sign-up and the processing described above. It will be updated if further services are added.
